The color and beauty of Bali are not only about its landscapes, people or ceremonies. Even the fruits delight the eye and certainly the taste. The fruit can be mysterious such as the crisp, cream colored salak fruit hiding within a snakeskin like covering. Or it can be like the durian with such a powerful smell it is banned from many hotels but its taste is a delight to behold. The better known tropical fruits are found in Bali throughout the year. Bananas come in many different sizes, colors and flavors. Other year around fruits include pineapplesand papayas. Mangoes are very popular with tourists and locals alike when they are in season.
